Lovers of wood for its warmth, the owners have given it a prominent place both inside and out, with pine framing, exposed-beam roof timbers, and a deck of over 200 m². Wide open to the outside and facing the Caribbean Sea, the entire villa inspires a gentle art of living. From the moment you arrive, you'll be impressed by its friendly atmosphere, in harmony with the serenity of the island. Charming, the villa is an invitation to dream and travel.

Facing the sea, the main living area comprises a fully fitted open-plan kitchen and a lounge. The villa Papaye has four simple, comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom, which opens onto the terrace, has a 160x200 bed with mosquito netting. Adjoining the bedroom is a dressing room and a pretty shower room with a corner bath.

The second bedroom, in light colours, has two 80x200 beds. The third, smaller bedroom is a children's bedroom. It has a pull-out bed. These two bedrooms share an ethnic shower room with light brown mosaics and a frieze of animals. Two glass basins rest on a brown wooden cabinet beneath which are baskets made from banana leaves.

At the end of the deck, a wooden cottage has been converted into a 20 m² mini-suite. Inside, the tones are restful: a subtle marriage of pearl grey and white contrasts wonderfully with the chocolate-coloured pine flooring. An air-conditioned sleeping area with a 160x200cm bed and a shower room with integrated toilet ensure maximum privacy and independence.

The covered terrace is the heart of the villa. Facing the sea, it allows you to enjoy the mild tropical climate sheltered from the sun. A lounge area with its wicker sofa allows you to sip the local aperitif before having your meal on a teak table. The large deck is a real space for relaxation and well-being. Here and there: cacti, alpinia, frangipani, aloe and bougainvillea.

In the center of the deck, a swimming pool with rounded shapes welcomes you for refreshing baths. The dream landscape is dominated by the blue of the Caribbean Sea and the intense green of the lush vegetation. The villa is rated 3*.
