Interhome did not inform about construction work

Only three days befor arrival Interhome informed about heavy construction work happening 20 meters from the pool and terrace. We ordered the house with a last minute discount 3 weeks before arrival via Vrbo where Interhome advertises as a host. Interhome moved other guests to other houses but they failed to inform us about the reason for the discount. Interhome claims they gave us the information before purchase but they did not and Interhome have not been able to show us any emails or Vrbo adds where this is the case. This affected our stay, the host acted arrogant and did not apologize or admit the mistake. Interhome local office in Sainte-Maxime or their head office did not act on our emails and phone calls. We cannot recommend to book with Interhome as the host.
