Pet-friendly BUT....

The only pet-friendly place we found in Salina for a cross-country overnight. The night was minus 14F. Our room was very cold. Worse we were on the backside of the hotel and an 18-wheeler was parked beneath our window and running all night. Super noisy. Also, the tv did not work. And the area was run-down. Sidewalks weren't shoveled and it was a sheet of ice. Dangerous and scary walking the dog. Pretty disappointing.

Our family was passing through and needed a nice hotel for just overnight. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. Close to the highway, food options nearby, easy parking. Some parts of the hotel could be updated, but overall this was a good stay. Front desk was helpful (had to fix our TV), and everything was clean.

The air conditioner/heater in the room was so noisy that every time it kicked on it woke me up. I completed the online check in, and then still had to check in when I got there. The breakfast area didn’t have much seating. The staff were nice though.

The beds are extremely TOO HIGH in the handicapped room. Even with a step stool still needed help getting in and out of bed. The side doors would not let us in the building even though the light lit up green. It would have been a lot closer and less walking. I was told some people were propping it open but I didn't cuz it was -12 while we were there.
