Located on a main bus route with good cycle routes around the local area and close to the hospital.
Stonehenge, New Forest, Paultons Park - home of Peppa Pig World and The Lost Kingdom dinosaur park, Longleat Safari Park, Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Winchester, Avebury, Highclere Castle, Southampton, Bournemouth and blue flag south coast beaches under 1hr away.
Bath, Bristol, Basingstoke, Glastonbury, Portsmouth, Cheddar Caves, Wookey Hole within reasonable distance for more day trip ideas. London Waterloo 1hr 25mins by fast train for the more adventurous.
