Guests will be thrilled with Cranborne Chase Stargazer, a brand-new lodge located at Whitey Top Farm. This space-themed retreat is perfect for star-gazing from the mezzanine bedroom or while relaxing in the hot tub.. 1 step to entrance.

Cranborne Chase Stargazer is a brand-new addition to Whitey Top Farm, perfect for couples seeking a romantic retreat. If you’re searching for a rural idyll, this modern, stylish, contemporary lodge is the ideal choice. Located on the owners’ working dairy farm within a small, select holiday park of just three luxury lodges, each with its own private hot tub and ample distance to ensure privacy, it offers a serene escape. Designed with a space theme, Cranborne Chase Stargazer is a lover’s lodge. It accommodates up to four guests, best suited for two adults and two children or three adults only. Due to the mezzanine bedroom, children under the age of seven are not accepted.
Upon entering, you’ll find a modern open plan living area with a kitchen and living space featuring an electric wood burner and Smart TV. The living space leads to the ground floor kingsize bedroom and bathroom, complete with a modern full-body shower and Jack and Jill sinks. Climb the steep stairs to the mezzanine, which features a kingsize bed and windows perfect for stargazing or relax in the private hot tub under the night sky. This wonderful location is part of a prestigious group of areas certified as International Dark Sky Reserves and has been awarded Dark Sky Friendly status by the Cranborne Chase National Landscape International Dark Sky Reserve. On clear nights, you can see the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy. A telescope is available to hire from the owners during your stay.
The Stargazer is located just 20 minutes from the New Forest National Park, renowned for its ponies, and it borders the Martin Down National Nature Reserve, celebrated for its wildlife, rare flowers, and butterflies. The reserve also features the Jubilee Trail, which traverses Dorset from border to border, offering direct access to numerous miles of scenic footpaths, bridleways, and cross-country cycling routes around the hamlet of Pentridge. Despite the lodge’s tranquil countryside setting, it’s only 40 minutes from the stunning sandy beaches of the south coast and the fossil-rich Jurassic coast. For a fun-filled day trip, consider visiting nearby attractions like New Forest Water Park, Longleat, Peppa Pig World, Monkey World, and Bovington Tank Museum, which offer entertainment for all ages.
