Excellent facilities for a budget hotel. Faultless staff who were helpful and obliging. Excellent value! Only downside was no lift and stairs are a problem for me. No doubt there would have been the offer of help with suitcase if I had asked. But I managed.

Room was a bit small, but then we paid for a snug room, so i guess you get what you pay for, room was excessivly hot, but we were in a heat wave, opening windows didn't help and no air con

Very disappointing

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Reduce rates and sort out breakfast
I was very disappointed with this hotel and found it very over priced. Our room had been renovated in recent years but it still felt like a business mans stop over. No air con and a very noisy extractor fan in the bathroom. Small TV placed above a side board which was difficult to view. Heavy wood furniture and poor lighting darkened the room - to see the tea making facilities inside a double doored cupboard I had to use the torch on my phone. Shower room was new with an excellent powerful shower and heavy thick towels, but bizarrely not a hook in sight - so no where to hang either dressing gown or towels! Walls were also thin as we could hear people taking next door. Breakfast was very poor - little choice in a small cramped area. Bizarrely, again,cooked breakfast was a buffet but no eggs. The eggs were cooked to order. This seemed a bit of a lottery. Our adjacent table received their eggs before they had served themselves from the buffet, ours on the other hand arrived as we had nearly finished eating breakfast. As it turned out it wasn't such a loss as the eggs were so overcooked they were pretty inedible (see photo). This was slightly embarrassing as we had invited our son and his partner to join us for breakfast. When I explained to the receptionist she kindly only charged for one extra breakfast. They have also done themselves no favours as my son has recently moved the area and is now unlikely to patronise this hotel.

Hotel zwischen Salisbury und Stonehenge

Mit dem Auto ist man in ca 15 min in Salisbury. Das Badezimmer war sehr sauber und wirkte neu. Es sind genügend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Super Hotel, kurz vor Stonehenge

Aufenthalt war toll, super Hotel mit hohem Komfort. Einziger Mangel: Die Zimmertüren fallen sehr laut ins Schloss. In der Nacht hörte man somit mehr oder weniger jeden Gast, der ins Zimmer ging. Nichts desto trotz, absolut empfehlenswert!
