Stayed for 7 nights and requested cleaning 3 times but didn't get any. Was just asking to empty garbage cans, sweep bathroom and pick up dirt towels and put clean ones. We had to request clean towels & facecloths at reception every day.

The first thing that showed us what was to be was the keys did not work in first room, had to hike back down two sets of stairs. We immediately noticed 3 other guests returned to desk also to get their new keys reprogrammed First room had no lights when the switch at the door was turned on- ended up there no lightbulb in the lamp Room 1 smelled very strongly of smoke Tv did not work in first room, when checking power outlets the dust and cobwebs behind the cabinet were very thick Same dust and lack of cleaning evident in room 2 that we were given after the problems continued in first room. Only two flimsy small bathtowels in first bathroom for 2 adults staying for 2 days. In second room both pillow cases on the bed were used and dirty, I switched back those pillows to the first room to get clean pillowcases. When curtains were opened in second room there was a partly drunk large drinking glass on windowsill and several sets of keys from another room also there Hallway did not get cleaned or checked all the first afternoon and evening- it needed food cartons picked up and to be vacuumed of mud and debris Old food in a Tupperware in fridge in room 2, sugar missing from coffee machine in room 2. Breakfast selection very poor choices- no decaf coffee choice or tea choice, no yogurt on second morning.

We stayed at the Super 8 in Salmon Arm and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience. When we arrived, the trash bins were already full, and my request for accessible accommodation was initially ignored. After some time, staff managed to find us a room — only for it to be dirty. They did provide another room, but when we moved a chair, it almost instantly broke. The check-in process took longer than it should have, and the next morning things didn’t improve. Breakfast was by far the worst we’ve had — a few stale pieces of bread, mislabeled cereal, and not much else. The trash area was overflowing, and one of the employees seemed more focused on her video call than maintaining the space, even tossing something that immediately fell onto the floor as she walked out. My expectations for a motel aren’t high, but this was well below even that. The whole place gave the impression that management simply doesn’t care.

I tend to stay at this hotel when I am in Salmon Arm. It is clean enough and as Salmon Arm is not that big a place it is close to most all I use during my trip. The first thing that happened this time though is that they tried to put me into an occupied room. I had made the reservation days before. Then for the duration of my stay, 4 nights, not once was my room cleaned. I am not a messy person so it was not a major inconvenience, but after as many hotels that I have spent time in one notices such things. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I slept well and after all, that is what one should expect from a discount hotel.

First room they gave us had a sagging, filthy mattress. After complaining they gave us a room which was much better, with a clean, very comfortable bed. We appreciated them promptly rectifying the situation.

we were able to get a ground floor room. Handicap parking close to door. more variety for breakfast would have been nice. ie bagules, boiled eggs, etc More than one set of towels needed in room. inside security lock needs fixing, kleenex would be nice

DO NOT TRUST THE RATINGS ON HERE! So gross. Made the mistake of not checking GOOGLE reviews before booking through Expedia. Hopefully you didn’t make that mistake either. Checked in and got my room, I walk in and get slapped in the face with a sour musty old smell and the room NOT CLEANED there was crap everywhere. I get a new room and same weird smell and just gross looking box springs that had no covers and weird red stains on them like liquid had been dripping. After being given the dirty room the first time I just couldn’t get past it and didn’t trust that the new room was truly cleaned or just “tidied up”. Don’t recommend using especially with pets as there was gross red stains on the carpets on the hallway with what looked almost like food mushed in and basically just forgotten about and this was on the MAIN FLOOR! Nope nope nope

The so called continental breakfast was a joke,2 kinda of cold cereal some dry old bread to make toast,and let’s not forget the rotten apples!! If this is breakfast it’s best not to serve anything..
