It makes a delightful summer outdoor living area and even has a powerful telescope allowing you to admire the spectacular view in infinite detail.
Next to the covered veranda, on the right side of the villa, there is another terrace area bordered by a beautiful, large palm tree, after which the house is named, that has enchanting atmospheric lighting. As this area is situated next to the house, it offers a more intimate and private atmosphere where you can enjoy wonderful alfresco dining on warm summer nights with your family or guests at the elegant, large glass dining table. On a raised level just behind this terrace there is also a gas BBQ allowing you to prepare wonderful local products and entertain at the same time. La Palmera is perfectly equipped and optimally designed for outdoor living, day or night, gazing out over the sea or in the shade of a tropical palm tree.
Entering the villa, you pass through an airy hall as you pass seamlessly from outdoor living into the bright, open indoor area decorated in natural tones with spectacular views from every angle. The hall is the focal point of the house, connecting both floors and, on this level, it joins the kitchen, the guest bathroom and living room allowing you to effortlessly move from one space to another.
To your left there is a fully equipped and recently renovated kitchen with oven, hob, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, toaster, iron, ironing board and a Nespresso coffee machine. It is a cool, well-ventilated area that makes preparing food a pleasure whatever the season. A door leads out to a southeast facing, smaller terrace with table and seating overlooking the sea which is the perfect place to slowly start your day and enjoy a peaceful breakfast together as you watch the sun rise over the mountains and sea.
To your right there is a spacious, elegant living room with panoramic windows overlooking the covered terrace, the azure Mediterranean Sea and distant horizon beyond. This bright room has a big, comfortable sofa and a wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings. From the hall, a staircase leads down to the spectacular, oval-shaped master bedroom located directly beneath the covered veranda. It has a king-sized bed, a large ensuite bathroom with rain shower and French windows that lead out to a private terrace. You can lie in bed and gaze out to sea or enjoy waking up to the gentle morning sun
The other two bedrooms are also located on this lower level. The first bedroom on your left has a double bed, an ensuite bathroom and French doors leading out to a private terrace area. The second bedroom to your right has two single beds and French doors onto a private terrace area with seating and spectacular sea views.
At night La Palmera is wonderfully atmospheric due to its elegant outdoor lighting, beautifully illuminated pool and the many lanterns and candles spread around the different outdoor areas that harmoniously merge into the sparkling lights of Salobreña, its mysterious Moorish castle and the coast below.
Guests have free access to the communal tennis court, swimming pool, football pitch, playground and a snack bar that opens in the summer months. The beach, restaurants and shops are less than a ten-minute drive away and the airports of Malaga, Granada and Almería are all easy to reach.
Salobreña is located on the Costa Tropical of Granada and benefits from a subtropical microclimate with over 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of over 20 degrees.
