There was a person housekeeping who opened the door while we were in the room without knocking. We didn’t like that. It is also very unsafe around the area too many people smoking weed and homeless.

The property is nicely situated in the downtown SLC area which is very convenient. The staff was efficient and welcoming and the breakfast was well stocked and expansive, including 2 waffle varieties, eggs and sausage. We've chosen to stay here twice now due to the large size of the queen suites being able to accommodate 5 of us and that breakfast.

We had a suite which was perfect for our family. This location was very convenient for the Amtrak station and the airport. We arrived late ant night and left early am so didn’t have time to explore the area on foot. The staff were very friendly.

What happened to hotel service?

Five day stay with no towel refresh. The skinny, tiny bars of soap didn't last three days. Not changing sheets at least once during a five day stay. Bye Bye Comfort Inn ... not good for a week stay.

The air conditioner was not working and we were not told in advance. Our room was very warm and stuffy. We were given a floor fan for the second night and it was more comfortable.

NO AIR CONDITIONING AT ALL. At first I was told, after I got to my 76degree room, that the AC was broken. Upon checkout I was told that there is no air conditioning…only heat. It’s tough to sleep in a 76 degree room, with windows that don’t open.

It was ok—a little shabby inside the room ( needed craftsmanship and repairs on the walls and closet area) and the street traffic noise from 500 South in downtown Salt Lake was too noisy for me. Breakfast was nice. I disturbed the neighbor next door with the white noise on my iPhone which caused thunderous pounding on the wall between our rooms.
