The individual who checked us in was friendly and very fast. That's more or less the only good thing about our experience. We are staying here for one night—checked in around 7:30 pm and leaving in the morning—after a grueling day of driving (the fourth day of our 12-day road trip, mainly camping). We haven't had a chance to properly clean ourselves in *days*. Then we arrive and the wall-mounted conditioner thing in the shower is completely empty. It's such a little thing; but we'd have to what, report it and sacrifice one of the five waking minutes of privacy that we have here to get it fixed? Drive to the drug store and buy our own? Ridiculous.

Perhaps it was based on availability, but I had requested rooms together (preferably adjoining) since we had our family in two separate rooms). The clerk looked and said we were good and right by each other. I took that to mean “next to each other and adjoining”, but we were across the hall. I don’t think he actually checked - I think the system assigned the next two - 305/306, while the option for connecting rooms may have actually been an option. If families with kids book together, I would think it makes sense to give adjoining rooms - they can always opt to not open the shared door.
