I booked this for a friend

I booked this hotel for friends who were going to catch an early flight the next morning. Because they were going to board the airport shuttle at 6 am and couldn’t take advantage of the complementary breakfast there would be sack breakfasts on the counter for them. I thought that was really nice

Convenient location, midway between downtown Salt Lake City and the airport. Each about 10 minutes, but in opposite directions. Some rough parts of town (and people living on the street) not too far from the hotel, probably the biggest negative. Breakfast exceeds expectations. Hotel could use new carpet and updating.

Anthony and other front desk folks were very accommodating, friendly, and effective when we had a glitch with our room key card, asked for a late check out, and got a ride to the airport. Highly recommend!

Our room was not ready when we arrived; the beds were uncomfortable; generally, the hotel appeared run down and our room had a view of several dumpsters (yeah!!!) located at the rear of the hotel; we had an unexpected death in our family that required us to check out early, and we were informed that the reservation was non-refundable so ended up paying for (4) nights that we weren't able to use but mgmt did not even have the nerve to tell us that but instead referred us back to Expedia; NEVER AGAIN COMFORT INNS!
