I'll start by saying the reviews for this hotel are misleading, as they primarily include reviews from when the property was a Hampton Inn. Much of my stay was impacted by the fact that the hotel is transitioning to a Hyatt property and is temporarily named "Hotel SLC". My stay started out poorly from the start, where I was denied the amenity of storing my luggage while waiting for my room to be ready. The hotel staff was rude and made no apology or attempt at accommodating for the inconvenience. While normally I might let this slide, this was a stay on the backend of a ski trip so I was saddled with a boot bag and pair of skis. Additionally, "Luggage storage" is listed as an amenity for this hotel, so this was unacceptable. The room was fine, although it smelled musty. This met my expectations for a 2-star hotel. Both the gym and pool were closed - neither of which was mentioned in the listing. The hotel breakfast paled in comparison to the photos depicted (specifically mislead by the lack of any fruit). Coffee was watered down, although offered all day. Housekeeping came once during our 3 night stay, though mentioned as a daily amenity. Overall, I made do as this was a temporary stay due to a travel delay. But I feel the listing was incredibly misleading and falsely represented the property as it currently exists today. I would not recommend this as a place to stay and will be weary of reviews on Hotels.com in the future.

My daughter was treated at the hospital with chronic pancreatitis, my youngest daughter had a 22 hr surgery still recovering, my husband has a tumor removed from his foot and recovering from the surgery, we live in New Mexico and I had driven 12 hrs, booked the room and when my husband and my youngest daughter get there, we had no room to sleep, it was just very upsetting and frustrating

The room was clean but a bit outdated. We did not receive hand towels, and the two washcloths we received were threadbare, one with a small hole in it. They were preparing to update the hotel, so the pool was not available, but at least they are working on the updates. We reserved a room with a king bed but they gave us a room with 2 queens instead, so we didn't get a couch. The staff was friendly.

Expedia screwed me and never actually reserved a room or so motel slc said i arrive close to 10 pm to find no reservations and the front desk lady texted her boss to see what to do after 20 minutes of no word through text from the boss i just said id find another place with service no more 3rd party trash for me or disgusting half cleaned half renovated broke down foreign ran brothels good riddance expedia and motel slc

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was great. Breakfast could have offered better variety. However the directions that I clicked off the Expedia confirmation email were not to a hotel it brought us to a random house. And the hotel said that has happened before according to other guests.
