Place is old and sorely in the need of renovation! The toilet back up and was full of fecal matter and we had to move to another room. The other room looks like it had not been renovated for 40 years. They had rugs on the floor that were dirty and smelled like feet. Nobody! Not a single staff member could speak anything other than Portuguese! The only good thing was the breakfast, but it was overcrowded!

Customer service is terrible. Paid for dinner at the hotel and could not get service. 5 tables in the entire restaurant, 3-4 servers working , a bus boy and a bartender. Had to walk around and find a server to get drinks. This is a really low end buffet and even with it being a buffet the people were more worried about being on their phones and talking among themselves. Tried to change currency at the dsk and they charged a really high fee. It was about 12%. Room was clean but not very nice. We stayed at 3 Vila Gale hotels on this trip and they all charged differently, one added a 10% addition “service fee” at checkout. They said it was to recoup the 10% Expedia charged them for making the booking. Avoid Vile Gale properties!

Infelizmente me hospedei apenas uma noite neste hotel incrível. Resolvi estender minha viagem em Salvador e escolhi o hotel para minha última noite, justamente na abertura do Carnaval, na quinta-feira. Os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos e educados. O quarto estava impecável, muito cheiroso e confortável, e a piscina também é excelente. O ponto mais fraco da estadia foi o café da manhã. Havia uma fila grande para conseguir tapioca, e senti falta de mais variedade em comparação com outras unidades da rede Vila Galé. Achei esse aspecto um pouco abaixo do esperado. Por outro lado, o restaurante me surpreendeu positivamente: a comida é muito gostosa e os preços são bastante acessíveis, o que não esperava por ser um hotel à beira-mar. A única ressalva é o tempo de espera, que foi longo até o prato chegar. No geral, voltaria com certeza. A localização é excelente, principalmente no Carnaval: fica próximo ao circuito, mas ao mesmo tempo em uma distância confortável, sem o barulho direto dos trios elétricos.

O hotel cheira mofo, ao chegar no quarto, a mobília e velha e desgastada, a limpeza não é boa. O banheiro estava com os vidros todos manchados de tanto produto de limpeza que passaram, muito uso. O banheiro do espelho com ferrugem. Péssima experiencia, muito longe do que outros hotéis da rede oferece, na verdade não sei com a rede ainda mantem esse hotel. Não recomendo.
