Great location within walking distance of Mirabellplatz and the old town area, with lots of convenient shopping, bakeries and restaurants within a 3-block radius. Staff is very friendly and attentive, and there is free coffee and tea in the breakfast room for all guests (even when you don't have the breakfast package). The bed was comfy enough and the room was clean.
No air conditioning but it was only an issue because there was a heat wave for mid September (85F/19C). There was a standing fan in the room and the window could be opened, which helped to keep things cooler. BUT while the hotel is on a small side street that's largely restricted from cars, there was too much noise from the patrons at the bars down the way that kept me from keeping the window open when I went to bed. (Noise persisted until midnight.)
The bathroom was a little cramped, but it was functional. The all-in-one shower gel/shampoo was not the best for long hair. The staircase is narrow and may be kind of tricky for those with even minor mobility issues.
Overall, it was a good stay and I would definitely consider staying here again just for the location alone.
