Good location, old style hotel but renovated rooms. Rooms were clean could be improved by having extra pillows provided, changing bedding after a few nights. Bedding not changed during 4 night stay. Cheap soap dispenser offered - nothing else bit basic for a 4 star. Reception staff ok, but breakfast staff so unfriendly and sour. Coffee let out in plastic flasks no service at all at breakfast. Sparking wine not there 2 of the 4 days. Rather cheap bread and tinned fruit. More a 3 star hotel overall. Nice enough good location. Extra charges for air con units in room but safe included.

...Traditional (not old) style hotel but renovated rooms...extra pillows available on request, bedding is changed every day or on request evry 2 days, we are sure you are confusing our breakfast with another hotel and the AC is not offered in winter time

Nice hotel, close to the centre of town.

Pros: Big clean rooms.
Cons: More restaurant space. Very busy in the mornings for breakfast, had to wait to get a table.
Nice hotel , with big clean rooms. The shower fixing was broken but it was repaired very quickly . We were on the ground floor and was a little noisy late on a Friday evening/ morning. Good hearty breakfasts but a bit cramped and very busy. Would definitely come back again.

Good three star hotel

Good hotel that did everything pretty well and is in a decent location. Breakfast was good and included scrambled eggs and bacon as well as a cold buffet. However, it is rated as a four star hotel, which if you are expecting four star amenities you will be disppointed. Also there is a surprising 10 Euro per night surcharge if you want to use the air-conditioning.

Easy transport links

On a good bus route or easy to walk in to the centre of city. Staff helpful, spoke perfect English and facilitated trips out. I loved my room; simple unfussy and clean. Facilities were very good. Would definitely recommend.

Very Impressed

Staff were always helpful, and spoke impeccable English. Breakfast was varied and very good quality; the freshly baked Rye bread could not be bettered. It is very close to a bus stop - cheap buses go straight to the centre, on a direct route to the old town. Could walk there if you did not use crutches as I do. Would certainly return to this hotel.

o.K. for the price

Pros: Near the center, near parking. Good located.
Breakfast was not great. Bread was not fresh. Orange juice was not real juice. Aircondition was making noise, even when it was not on.

Thanks for your positive review, Breakfast bread might not have been of your taste but it is brought fresh every day from the bakery, orange juice is juice not fresh pressed oranges, we checked your room but did not find any unwanted noises, Ac was working silently when on. Regards GTHotel

Ganz ordentliches Hotel

Pros: Das Frühstück
Cons: Badezimmer könnte sauberer sein und bitte Fernseher reparieren, mehr Sender sowie eine Fernbedienung die funktioniert
Location: Sehr nah zum Zentrum, Nähe zum Dom, Schloss Mirabell, Einkaufstrassen sowie ganz tollen Restaurant und Café
Wollten uns Salzburg anschauen und suchten uns ein zentrales Hotel. Wunderschöne Stadt, Hotel ist ganz ok.

Immer wieder super!

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, preislich total ok, Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück 4-Sterne-Standard ohne Schnörksel, aber nichts relevantes fehlt. Die Bar würde vielleicht ein paar Cocktails in der Karte vertragen (neben den Longdrinks), aber das ist natürlich nur nebensächlich. -) Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, versuche immer dort zu buchen wenn ich in Salzburg bin!
