We felt the hotel was quite lovely but did feel that the front desk staff was lacking in their knowledge of general information that tourists normally require…transportation guidance, restaurant locations etc. We understand that this is not the primary focus for front desk staff but a more thorough knowledge of basic information that guests would ask about would increase the quality of the hotel.

Property was in a good location. 15 minute walk from central train station and 15 minute walk to the old city. Hotel is right across the street from Mirabell Palace. There are small eateries all around the hotel. Great air conditioning.

Wonderful hotel

We loved this hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was huge. We had every facility we needed, including a mini fridge. The location was perfect for us, just minutes from the Mirabel gardens and a 10 min stroll from the old town. We even walked to Shloss Leopoldstrom in half an hour. The staff are amazing. Very accomodating and welcoming. We could not have asked for a better hotel for our stay in Salzburg.

Was not treated like others were being treated. Not served tea or asked like other guests. Chided like a child for picking up a plate from an area in buffet which the server didn’t like ( no signage to reflect that was not the place) . Seemed overwhelmed when asked if food was nut free when all places in the country label food with allergens. This is when the buffet cost $30/ person. Booked this hotel again for one night without buffet only because of location.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Located close to the salt mine and we did a sound of music tour that the meeting point was steps away from the hotel. Close to restaurants!
