We went for our 25th Anniversary and had a great time. We were updated to a suite with a balcony and river view and given a bottle of wine. So nice! They kickback was also great. I didn't try the food but it looked like a pretty decent spread did get my complimentary drink which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was pretty standard, obviously better than a continental at like say a 2 to 3 star hotel but on par with others of this grade. Parking at this hotel was way less expensive than other hotels. Parking was safe and location was convenient. We were at the perfect location on the Riverwalk close to the busy area but just far enough down that it wasn't crazy loud. Room was clean, heating and cooling worked great, the beds were comfortable. The carpets are a little dated but honestly most hotels room carpets have seen better days unless brand new. Location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see in that area. I use to work in the travel industry and a lot of places I have been have not met my expectations because of this I am sure my expectations probably aren't as high as they use to be but this trip definitely went beyond what I expected.
