The stay was great. I planned this as a short staycation, one night, all the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was delayed when we arrived but they were quick to accommodate us and even compensated our valet parking for the inconvenience. It is in a great location, very close to both the majestic and empire theaters. I will definitely be staying here again.

We arrived at 5 pm for check in and our room still wasn’t ready, we had to wait another hr for the room to be finished. The ice machine on our floor was broken but there was a sign to call room service for some. We did, we waited over an hr and it never came. We tried calling again and were told they didn’t have room service at that time but we could go down and get some. We were upgraded to an executive suit for waiting on the room to be ready but service was still subpar. There’s better hotels for the price in the area. Also, hotel has no parking so we had to park in a parking garage 2 blocks away.

Check in was fast but we apparently were supposed to get an upgrade and free bottle of wine via Hotels.com - we got neither. The hotel is beautiful and in a quiet part of the Riverwalk which was nice. There was some kind of conference going on and quite frankly the attendees were rude, blocking the elevators and one even started mimicking my foreign accent. The room was lovely, the beds very comfortable and the pillows nice and soft. Dining was great, had a lovely meal. Only complaint - the bath towels are in a basket and felt damp. When removed from the basket, they had brown stains on them from the basket varnish. There must be a leak in the bathroom.
