OK stay

The room was a little disappointing. It was clean but a bit outdated. Staying in a 'river view' room was somewhat of a joke since we were on the 9th floor and had to look down to see anything. The ac struggled to stay cool, but the bed was comfortable. We had to request fresh towels three times before we received them at 1 o'clock in the morning (fortunately we were still awake}. Besides the $55 daily valet parking fee and our room not ready until 6pm, The staff was pretty helpful.

Check in was inconvenient as we had a concert to attend. We checked in at 5 and room was not ready. We did not get into our room until 10pm. Checkout was awful. We waited almost an hour waiting for our call that was in valet. The rooms seemed dated. Chair in room was definitely worn. Not what it used to be. Courtyard closed early before 10pm. Even though the signage said it closed at 10.

A little good with a little bad

Upon arrival staff & vallet parking was quick & smooth. Hotel has a beautiful welcoming environment. Checkin was quick & easy. Our room was nice, clean & had the toiletries needed. Downfalls ice machine on 4 different floors didn’t work. We tried to call front desk to have some delivered but our phone didn’t work. Stopped by the front desk on our way out to tell them the phone didn’t work he said we’ll have it running by the time you return. Phone was NEVER fixed & no communication as to why either.They have a text messaging system for communication but it must’ve had issues because the communication was horrible. I messaged asking for ice at 5:30 pm didn’t get a response until 8 pm. Message said “we will have our staff deliver the ice in 10 mins. After 9 pm Got a knock on the door with grape wine & chocolate covered strawberries which we didn’t request and NO ice. About 45 minutes later another knock asking if we needed ice but he was empty handed so that was confusing. By that time we said forget the ice. Later sat down for happy hour waiting 20 mins no one addressed us. Only 1 bartender so we left. Not sure when housekeeping is supposed to check on rooms but I had to message for Trash to be thrown,refill toilet paper and fresh towels. Got back to the room bed was made trash was thrown. Left dirty towels hanging gave us clean towels but Didn’t replace wash cloths & forgot the toilet paper. We had to use kleenex. Hotel lacking communication & didn’t feel like a 4 star stay.

2 hour delay to check in

Hotel is clean and in a good location, we checked in at 4:00 with reservations, they made us wait until 6:00 before a room was ready. We were not the only people affected everyone had to wait 1-2 hours for their room. Staff was polite but ineffective in solving the issue, the excuse just made me feel they have no clue what they are doing. I was there for dinner and a show, the delay cut a significant amount of time from my trip. There are plenty of other options, therefore I would not risk staying there again. Im glad it happened now as I was going to book a wedding part there in a couple months, I have time to find another place.
