My family and I stayed in La Quinta Downtown San Antonio. We’ve stayed at other La Quinta locations without any issues so we thought this would be the same. We stayed from the 15th through the 19th and for the first two days it was a pleasant experience. What put us off from ever going back to La Quinta Downtown Sant Antonio was that by day two I went to the front desk inquiring about the cleaning service, which I was told that the rooms where clean daily. In which I replied that our room has not been serviced for two days and I requested someone to come up to take the garbage out, bring fresh towels and toiletries. My expectation after talking to the front desk was that while we were out enjoying the day, this would be taken care of. When we returned the garbage was removed and towels were replaced but my wife had to track someone to get toiletries. To top it off on our return from a night out at the Riverwalk, my family get into the elevator to go to our room the elevator gets stuck between floors. Now at this point my wife and children are worried so I called the front desk to alert them of the situation and they said they would get us out momentarily. Almost an hour later the fire department came out and got us out. Now there is more to this story which I have shared with Ms. Crystal Ramirez, assistant manager via email due to the fact that no manager available during this ordeal and the next morning when my family was to checkout.
