The staff was very helpful. The room was exceptable except for when the TV fell off the wall. Maintenance arrived in a timely matter to get it propt up and operational that evening but no one came in the morning to remount as promised until the next evening. Great amenities and location especially for the Fiesta.

First off the staff is very nice and made this stay very comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. That being said there are some issues with the hotel and some reasons we will not be staying here again. The smaller issues include no microwave in room, no self parking, the remote was busted, the tv service is a bit unreliable and the bed was extremely stiff. The hotel is also a bit dated and poorly maintained in some areas. The"visible" areas like lobby, outer area, dining look decent but once you get to the hallway and room it's a different story. The hallway to the rooms looks like a bad motel and the rooms look nothing like the pictures. The reason we won't be staying here again is the false advertisement of view of Riverwalk. The pictures show a TINY bit of the decent part of the Riverwalk. However, the hotel is on a very undesirable part of the Riverwalk. The picture shown is the very edge of the Riverwalk with the rest being a horrible view of a bad part of the city. Ya, they got us. We got catfished.

Checking in was a bit of a hassle because I had to change my name on the booking to be able to use my credit card, even though my credit card was the one used to book it. Our bathroom fixtures had so much rust on them that it was gross. The tub didn't drain properly, so we had to shower in a tub full of water. For the price of the room, there wasn't really much to it. I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, which has much better accommodations. The outside of the property was nice, though.

NOT AS ADVERTISED! This was our first time visiting San Antonio, TX and wanted to be near the Riverwalk we heard so much about from other Military families who have been to the area. We were so excited for the trip and saw the photos of this establishment and was sold on booking here. Welp, we should have done a bit more research on the hotel. As many of you have probably seen if you are going through reviews, the experiences of folks are certainly varied. I will say the photos provided of the hotel by the owners are extremely out dated and sells you something that is not reality. The pool looks NOTHING like the pictures you are seeing online. I was hoping to use the pool but the way it looked and the dank smell on the floor swayed me to pass on that experience. The main hotel location is a historic location so the lack of updates made to the property may have something to do with why it looks run down in some areas, I am not sure. I was shocked to see the wear and tear on the rooms and hallways so prevalent. There were several doors on our way to our room that needed to be painted and/or replaced and in our room we had a waterfall coming down from our ceiling during a portion of our stay. The bed was creaky and very hard. The walls are seriously super thin, in fact at about 4am on day 2 of our stay we heard new people moving around and making noise so loud that it jolted us out of our slumber.
