I had a nearly perfect stay at the SpringHill Suites in San Antonio. It was close to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, there was plenty of free parking, and the hotel is modern with spacious suites! I checked in just after 8pm and was greeted by Iris, she was so friendly, funny, personable, kind, told me everything I needed to know, quickly checked me in, and when I confirmed the 12pm check out, she offered more time if needed, which was perfect, as I was going to have an hour to kill before heading to the airport, so I got to relax longer in the room until 1pm! That was much appreciated! The only problem I had with my room, #406, was the lights were out on the standing lamp near the couch, and a USB port (one of 3, I noticed the other 2 later) was broken, and I was surprised each queen bed had 3 pillows, not 4. I also found it odd there was no light switch near/between beds for the lights above the bed, unless I used the small reading lamps. It took some time to figure out the temperature in shower and the water pressure was average. Everything else was perfect, huge closet, large clean room, plenty of space, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, plenty of towels, and overall I was pleased! The breakfast in morning was great, they don't rapidly take everything away when it ended at 9am, there was BACON which seems rare nowadays, and the quality of everything was great! A top notch breakfast for sure at a hotel. The room was a great value too! I would definitely stay again!

The only negative we experience was the room seemed to have experienced a little settling over time as the bathroom and shower doors were hard to get completely closed, but I feel it was a settling issue and out of the staff’s control as the piece of tile in between them was broken. Again, out of the staff’s control. The room was spotless, everything smelled fresh, it was quiet even though the building was packed full (Halloween festivities happening all around for the weekend), and just about anything you’d want to eat from a typical breakfast buffet. Bonus points for the desk piece to break the room into two different sections. My son enjoyed sleeping on the couch in his own area away from the girls while my daughter and I shared the king size bed.
