Staff was very friendly and happy to see and speak with guest. The room was clean, small but well maintained. We faced the main street,. quite noisy up until 11:30 pm. Cars with loud pipes kept us awake. Very close the the Riverwalk and Alamo, The Maverick museum is directly across the street, worth every penny!

Love this property. Wonderful staff. Beautiful rooms. Perfect quiet workspace. The only issue was parking. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

severe noise issues throughout the hotel. Staff really attempts to be helpful; but the hotel did a very shortsighted job when renovating .... if my (and others) experience is any indication, you will struggle to sleep each night. One staff member told me: "oh if anyone asked me I would advise they not come to this hotel on business". To be avoided.

The room itself was very nice and comfortable. The windows were so bad that we could hear everything from the street. A band playing at a bar nearby, horse sounds and oh my birds! The birds were so loud I couldn’t believe we were in the middle of a city. Then the lights from the building across the street shone in our window all night. Unfortunate because we liked the room

Was a great spot for an extended work trip. Really enjoyed all the comforts of home. If you are a light sleeper it might not be for you, there was very loud street noise all four nights during the week from 11pm - 2am. Didn't bother me tho, would stay again for sure. The Alamo is a block away!

This place was perfect for us! The convenience of the location couldn’t be beat. One block away from the Riverwalk and the self-parking. The apartment had everything we needed to feel like we have been living there for years :)

Great stay! Great Location!

I love the place. It was great! It was the best of both worlds, a small apartment giving it a homey feeling with the accomodations and amenities of a hotel room. The location was top notch. Everything you need within walking distance, plus all the tourist landmarks. Just excellent. Word of advice though, the windows are not double pane, so being right smack in the middle of downtown you hear EVERYTHING. If quiet is what you want, this may not be the place for you. We actually enjoyed the sounds of the city. We will stay here again and cant wait to drag a few friends with us too.

I cannot say enough good things about the Maverick. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And the hotel itself was so cozy and inviting. I cannot wait for them to get the downstairs finished. We will definitely be back.

Great location, close to everything including a bus stop, which I used to get back to the airport. Staff was very nice, helpful and almost always at the check-in desk. Room was very nice, but no view. Kitchen was minimally equipped but very modern, like new. Hot water was controlled, limit on its temperature. Shower was weak, low flow. Microwave oven was hard to reach - mounted too high, over the refrigerator.

Room was not properly cleaned upon arrival but our room was also ready early so we just wanted to be thankful for that. The bathroom looked like only the towels were refreshed, the sink and shower seemed to still have ‘debris’ in it. The room is extremely small but had most essentials needed. Our window faced a brick wall with very little natural light and the outside noise was very loud but internal building noise was quiet. It felt like a safe secure building. $10parking was available about a block away which was great, it was very walkable to the river and Alamo.

I asked for more towels since we had more people, it never came until the next day. There was no heat in the apartment during our stay, family had to sleep in hoodies. They offered to move us to another room on last night, but it would be a huge pain packing and unpacking so we stayed. Asked for a discount and they gave pet deposit back, that was insulting. No heat when the weather was in the 40s and 50s!!
