Still clueless as to why i was given no notice, reason or excuse and my reservation just abruptly not honored by hotel. Furthermore, hotels.com couldnt do anything but attempt to extract another nights stay for booking that i found cheaper on my own. Low price guarantee is nothing but hot air and choices were basically either pay more for a lesser accomodation, or get my money refunded.
I say this with the loosest definition of that word possible, because i was informed that my."refund" would be processed whenever they pretty much felt like it in 7-10 business days. What this amounts to in todays world of speed and technology is theft.
I got zero value for my 85 dollars and even less in terms of value from hotels.com. instead of compensation, i basically was stalled on the phone snd my funds stolen. It is with the strongest urging, that I urge you to take your business elsewhere where words like customer service actually mean something and you arent given the run if things go awry.
