First there was an unexpected mandatory $20 per night amenity fee. I have never faced this type of sneaky fees after I paid Expedia. I discussed the issue with from desk for half an hour but as I had to other place to go I paid it. Second, when I went to my room, I noticed the room's window is facing a wall! I paid extra on Expedia so my room faces the garden. Having said that, the interior of my room was quite good and I liked its style.

I was overcharged for a room upgrade that I was told would be comp to me. Our room was not ready when we arrived and we were upgraded to a different room. I was charged the additional $43/night fee out of my deposit after the fact. I tried to reach out to the managers SEVERAL times. No luck. I ended up having to dispute the charge on my credit card.
