Courteous staff upon check-in and check-out. Renovated rooms, while small, were comfortable w/ a king size bed. Bathroom was spacious enough for two people. Visited in December and room and bathroom was very cold, even w/ heater on. Room needs more storage. Perfect location. FREE PARKING!!

Parking was easy and a nice perk that it was not an additional cost as most SF hotels charge. Rooms were decent and updated, but there were little to no amenities. Two of our rooms had central heat issues that ended up resulting in one of my parties being moved to another room. And the staff at check-in was VERY rude and unpleasant. They had made a mistake with one of my six rooms, and she was trying to argue with me about it. saying that one of them was a different type of rooms. Eventually she fixed the issues but begrudgingly and almost like we were bothering her.

This motel is a great deal $ for SF. Our room (and presumably all others) are newly renovated and super clean. The bathroom is especially nice with a giant walk in shower. The beds were great. If I were to stay here again, I would ask for a room at the back as the rooms facing Lombard are very noisy. Adding black out curtains to the rooms would go a long way to absorb some of the sound. The 'closet' in our room was just a pole with nice wooden hangers. However, I was glad we drove and I had a bungee cord in the trunk to fix the pole as it has a beautiful but dysfunctional curve in it - the hangers just slip right off! Some under counter lighting would also be appreciated by the coffee station in the room.

Clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, nice location as a starting point for exploring San Francisco. This is a really nice motel that I will consider booking for the future. The complimentary parking is also an excellent plus.

I really liked the convenient location of this motel. Walking distance to restaurants and Fisherman’s Wharf. The room was clean but did not smell good. When we turned the heater on, it smelled like urine. The manager said it was because it had not been turned on yet. So we let it run while we were out and the smell went away. The street outside the hotel is busy and noisy but, again, it’s close to restaurants on Union St so you don’t need to drive.

Motel is a great value! It was recently renovated, so everything is new. Rooms were clean. (Free!) parking was easy and secure. Office staff friendly. Great location and value. Since it is located on Lombard, there is a lot of loud traffic noise, so request a room away from the street.
