Het was geweldig dat de espresso machine klaar voor gebruik stond toen we aankwamen. Een snel kopje koffie op het terras met uitzicht op de tuin maakte het bijzonder. Het gedeelde zwembad werd onze favoriete plek in de namiddag, wat een leuke toevoeging gaf aan luie zonnige dagen. Wat me echt opviel, was hoe stil het daar was, alleen de geluiden van de natuur zorgden voor een verfrissende ontsnapping uit ons drukke leven.
