Blissfully Peaceful!

I booked this hotel for one night before flying back to Pisa the next morning. It only took minutes by taxi from Central Station. Was immediately struck by how peaceful it was when I arrived. The gentleman on reception was very helpful, had excellent English & explained everything to me fully. I was travelling alone, so it would've been nice if there had been an offer to carry my case up to my room on the first floor. My room was authentically furnished, spacious, clean, with a lovely little balcony with table & chairs off to the side. All I could hear was lots of birdsong, it was extremely relaxing after a busy day travelling by train from Umbria. My bathroom ran the length of the room, lots of space. Only criticism would be the shower had very low water pressure. I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing by the pool, which was lovely. Things were a little unkempt down there, it didn't unduly bother me, but for those that like a pristine pool area they might be unhappy! I did note an automatic pool cleaning machine in the pool the next morning though, and certainly the pool itself looked very clean. I had dinner at the restaurant in the next building. There was only one waiter working, and most of the guests were dining when I arrived and the guy seemed a bit harassed. He was quite offhand, the White wine I ordered was quite warm, and when I ordered another glass, he seemed to think it was chilled enough! The food itself was nice, not outstanding, but it was good value, and it is handy if you don't want to go into town to eat. I had a fabulous night sleep, extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast the next morning was quite basic, but fine for me as I didn't want a cooked breakfast. I did think there was a shuttle bus to the airport, the listing for the hotel did mention this, but when I checked out the next morning, I was told I had to catch the bus from the bus stop a few hundred yards from the hotel on the main road. Again, this wasn't a problem for me, the bus service was frequent and inexpensive, but for those with a lot of luggage, or small children, it could be a bit more difficult. All in all, a very pleasant, brief stay! It's somewhere I would definitely stay again, the peaceful surroundings are lovely, and it's only ten minutes from Pisa centre, and twenty minutes from the airport.

fantastic place to relax and explore

What can I say! had a wonderful 8 days,Its a little bit out from Pisa but a very good bus service is just at the top of the road, the food in the hotel is great, Its inexpensive and very good value as it so good, Great wine and its local.The town of Lucca is only a short distance away.and sometimes the bus driver takes money , 5 or 6 euro for two people and sometimes he has no tickets left so it's free. lol....I will defnetitaly be back, Big mention to Rosario, Anderea and Marco the front office staff who could not do enough. we were there in oct 5th to the 13th. mike McNamara ireland

Nice and peaceful

We enjoyed our stay at the Airone Pisa Park Hotel. Location is in the country, not far from a sunflower field, but only a 5 min walk from bus route connecting Pisa to Lucca. The same bus also took us to Pisa train station and even the airport within about 25 minutes. It's a small hotel, ideal for couples and/or families with children of all ages. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel was full while we were there it did not feel busy at all, because the buildings are spread out within a large garden. There is a pear tree right next to the pool and olive trees next to the playpark. Very relaxed and peaceful! Nice atmosphere. The hotel has a couple of bikes which can be used free of charge. There is also a restaurant which serves authentic Tuscan dishes, including excellent fresh seafood. Breakfast staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and was very attentive. I felt I was getting good value for money and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Weekend en amoureux

L'hôtel est très bien placé à 5 km de Pise. Le cadre est sympathique, la chambre est acceptable mais elle pourrait être plus entretenue.

Zeer toffe vakantie gehad

Tof personeel lekker en goed ontbijtbuffet zeer goede bedden en de bar is open 24u gelijk het hotel zeker voor herhaling en dicht bij de luchthaven voor 15euro met een taxi

séjour à Pise

L'hotel est situé dans un ilot de verdure tres agréable. Le personnel est aimable, la chambre et le petit déjeuner corrects pour le prix. En préparant l'itinéraire à l'avance avec google earth, nous avons facilement trouvé l'hotel. Le seul point négatif non négligeable est la mauvaise insonorisation des chambres (bruit des chambres voisines et des avions qui décollent de l'aéroport de Pise)

Un excellent rapport qualité prix à Pise

L'hôtel est une bâtisse en pleine campagne, tout en n'étant qu'à 4 km du centre de Pise. Il est indispensable d'avoir un véhicule. L'accueil a été sympathique. Notre chambre était spacieuse et confortable, avec une grande salle de bains. Être réveillés par des chants d'oiseaux est une chose bien agréable. Le petit déjeuner en buffet était copieux et varié (à part pour la charcuterie). La wi-fi fonctionnait très bien. Le seul bémol est que pour arriver à l'hôtel, si l'on n'a pas de GPS, il faut vraiment bien le repérer sur Google Maps et arriver avant la nuit tombée, sous peine d'avoir quelques difficultés à le trouver. En définitive, une excellente adresse pour visiter Pise et les environs.
