Amazing hilltop resort, they will book tours or all tour companies also pickup on request. Three pools and outdoor cabanas. Long hill walk up/down to get here but supermarkets and restaurants at foot of hill. Town centre is walkable but up/down hills each way. Not all cabins have a wifi router and mine kept cutting out so they moved me to another cabin. I was here six nights. Lots of foreigners. Very nice and relaxing place to stay. Also Cahal Pech archaeological site right next door. Will definitely come again

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
The hotel definitely has amazing views! The room we had was right above the kitchen so we could hear everything! Door slamming, plates clinking, chopping, etc, all day and night. Didn’t get any sleep. Asked for the room to be changed, but the weren’t able to. We also requested a blanket, because the temps were record low, but they didn’t have any! It was one and done for us. Don’t recommend.
Staff was good. Room was very small. No water glasses , no TV, internet very spotty, no hot water in the morning, no coffee before 7am.

Had a cabin but a view of a hedge and a fence. Transferred to another room. Clean and organised. Staff polite. Noisy children by the pools unsupervised, despite signs. Went for breakfast at 9am (serve until 10.30)but was told that they had run out and everything there was all they had?? Buffet??

Staff was great. We enjoyed the restaurant, good food, really good breakfast. Resort was very clean. The rooms were different than I expected, we had a little cabin with a thatched rood.it was cute, fairly basic, but clean and comfortable. There is a little noise from town, but it wasn’t bad. I would stay there again, good value.
The room was very clean and the staff were courteous. The only issue we had was ants in the room. Didn't notice them the first night, but we pulled down the blanket from the shelf the second night and placed it on the bed. It apparently had the ants in it.
As a "resort", I would have thought the shower and towels would have been better, but that's just a minor whine. The shower head was old and didn't work well and the two towels we had in the room were small and rough.
The cabanas are great, the screened in porch is awesome, and the view is amazing.
The restaurant, is just okay. Didn't care for the dinner menu, but the food was decent and the price was reasonable.
Overall, we'll most likely stay again when next in San Ignacio.
Lots of food options. Staff were friendly and approachable. Always willing to provide recommendations and assist with anything

Super friendly staff but unfortunately a run down and overpriced accommodation
It’s run like an American resort (bar prices and menu prices reflect this) but the facilities included the rooms, windows, showers etc are not quality you’d expect for the price.
We didn’t have a warm shower the whole time we were there, even when we were moved rooms.
Staff were super helpful trying to sort it out but the property is unfortunately not high enough standard to make their effort worth it.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel! The staff were amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, especially when it came to booking tours and giving great local recommendations. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The restaurant was absolutely delicious, with excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again.

Amenities could be improved. No coffee in the rooms and the restaurant wouldn’t make coffee until 7am. Two bath towels provided but only one hand towel and one wash cloth. Really? We’re supposed to share a washcloth? We asked for some and were obliged but two of everything should automatically be put in the rooms.
Dinners were pretty good! Breakfast was not that great. Food buffet was cold usually unless you arrived at 7am when they put it out.
Bar was good. Mike was an awesome bartender! Cynthia at front desk was helpful.
No real serious complaints here as the service was generally good in both the restaurant and the hotel. Very nice views from this hotel over the city. Hotel is a little aged and worn, but they’re keeping it in good enough condition. If you get a good price. It’s a value.

The hotel is in a good location and not terribly far from the town (keep in mind that's on top of a hill). The view is really nice and the pools are decent. Some things that I did not like were: 1) Very low water pressure, 2) There was no water a couple of times because of some pipes issues (which I undertand it happens, but nobody told us and we found out while showering), 3) Water wasn't very warm when showering, 4) Hot tub wasn't working, 5) There is a display right by the entrance selling toiletries, incuding an entire row of condoms (not very family friendly and it displays low class in my opinion).
