Make plans for the day ahead over a freshly brewed coffee and put your feet up on the sofa after a wonderful day. Nearby you will find the beautiful lagoon, which invites you to take a refreshing dip.
Visit the sandy beaches on the Mar Menor or head to the Mediterranean coast for sunny days by the water. Experience the fascinating nature of the lagoon and the salt pans on walks, where you might see flaminogs. You can also hire bikes and explore the area at your own pace. Explore the La Manga peninsula, often referred to as the paradise between two seas. The historic harbour city of Cartagena is also worth a visit. Nature lovers should not miss the regional parks of Calblanque and Arenales y Salinas de San Pedro del Pinatar, Monte de las Cenizas (The Cinder Mountain) and Pico del Águila. If you are interested in aeroplanes, you should visit the flying festival in May.
