This is a typical "good" Mexican motel. If you are expecting the Marriott you won't like it.
If you understand Mexican motels then you will like this one.
Very poor wifi, coach-roaches on floor and steel bedrm door and very noisy from vehicle traffic. Also no choice for dinning dirt roads all around the property

Beware of the No Show Fee!
Beware of the fraudulent billing practices of this hotel. I booked a last minute stay through the Hotels.com app due to a cancelled flight. The price almost doubled from my initial research to the time I booked, but I wanted to stay in something close to the Cabo airport, so went ahead and confirmed.
I arrived less than an hour after booking and was allowed to check in early (thank you Luis). I received the usual "how was your check in" email from Hotels.com, but was too tired to respond. After checking out the following morning, I received a note from the hotel advising me they were charging a no show fee. I responded that I was there and did not expect to be charged. In return, I received a response telling me they did have me checking in. I responded to that with a "please credit my account" note for no show fee already assessed.
Two months later, I am yet to receive credit for the fraudulent no show fee. Hotels.com tells me it is up to the hotel and they are denying the credit even though I have email proof from them admitting I was there. I am outraged that what was originally a $50ish hotel room has now cost me over $200.
I would suggest not booking through the Hotels.com app and taking your chances them having a room available if you are ever forced to stay here.
The location is good - a quick Uber from the airport.
CASH ONLY! But this is not a serious business: you can’t pay in advance, they only accept cash and you can’t pay with credit cards or international debit cards. There’s no ATM anywhere near, except in the airport terminal. It was fine in the end as I had about half the amount in cash and the reception staff let me pay the rest later (I was planning to go San Jose centre to get dinner anyway, and took out some cash there).
NOT REALLY 24/7! So I had an early flight out of SJD and needed to leave the hotel at 5:30 AM. I didn’t think I needed to tell staff since this is a 24/7 hotel, I thought. First, all the doors in the courtyard were closed and I struggled to find which one led to the reception area (it was still dark). Finally I fumbled and opened the right door. The reception area was in complete darkness, and the door to the outside was locked!!! I was trapped inside the hotel. I called out but no one heard me. Thankfully, the outside door was locked with a chain and lock pad so I was able to squeeze my (small) hand between the doors and reach the buzzer. I finally heard a clanging door in the courtyard and the night staff came to open the door. He was very apologetic and kindly offered to drive me to the airport. In the end it all turned out alright, but come prepared for a bit of an adventure. I don’t think staff spoke very much English, so be prepared to navigate that adventure in Spanish.
desde que llegue me dijeron que no se reflejó el pago y tuve que pagar en efectivo, me comentó el dueño que ya no trabajaban con Expedia y no aceptaba pago con tarjeta. La habitación era la especiada pero el piso estaba manchado, me senté en una cama y se quebró una pata de esta. La TV no estaba configurada. Cómo es a la orilla de carretera las habitaciones no están insonorizadas.
Pésimamente, llegue al hotel q literalmente es un hueco , nunca pensé q tuviera q pasar por la pena con mi esposa de llevarla a un lugar tan desagradable , es tan deprimente el lugar q de inmediato di la vuelta y busque otro hotel , preferí perder mi dinero , el recepcionista era un muchacho q no tenía idea de nada , el estacionamiento es un taller , el baño de visitas es un orinal en un depósito , el conductor del taxi me lo advirtió y yo me negué a creerle , le dije si hoteles.com lo tiene en su portafolio seguro es bueno y lamentablemente el tenía la razón , ustedes no deberían prestar su nombre para este engaño , las fotos no tiene nada q ver con el lugar , el nombre del hotel no está en ninguna parte , hay un letrero en un papel pegado al vidrio de la entrada dese ese momento usted ya sabe a q atenerse , perdí mi dinero gracias al apoyo q ustedes le prestan a este tipo de establecimiento exijo me reintegren mi dinero , no hay manera de verificar el lugar hasta cuando se llega a el , absolutamente espantoso .
