When i booked my rooms it said breakfast included but when i checked in it was not included so the person being the counter said we could buy it for $22 a person and i was not happy with that so the 4 of use whent without breakfast this morning because we had to get another flight so that sucked 😔😔😔😔😔

Except for a young lady at the front at time of check in it was 1:50pm and I asked for f we can check in and she said at around 2:20-2:30 and I was fine with that till I saw so many couples checking in and they were never told no. I stayed right in front of her and she never said anything to me till I approached her at 2:30pm and she said I think I can do it now but a young guy jumped in and gave me the room in less that 5 minutes. She was never rude but that is not acceptable if the rooms are available even if I needed to pay extra! She even made my mother wait till then and my mom arrived at 9am but they had rooms available cause the hotel is not even full

Great Place to stay

A great last night in Costa Rica! Beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. I had a slice of chocolate cake waiting for me in the room as a welcome gift and the room was well stocked with all necessities and a very comfortable bed.The mall next door looks better than the ones I see in the US. The pool is currently not warm due to a heater not working but still a beautiful view. Will stay here again as I fly into Costa Rica. Everything was perfect !

The hotel is close to the airport, but the sound of airplanes does not disturb the peace. It is adjacent to a shopping mall which is very convenient. Uber rides made it easy to get around. The hotel provides a reliable shuttle service to and from the airport.

Paid extra for a Mountain View however they gave me a room facing the highway instead. It was a bit noisy at night. Also, I booked the room for 3 people but they had only two towels in the room. Had to call them twice and waited for nearly two hours to get an extra bath towel.

Gentleman who checked us in was friendly, quick and well-spoken. Shuttle driver was awesome. Fire alarm set off twice at night by staff = little to no sleep. No hot water for morning shower. Hotel is right on main road with little to no soundproofing. Floors are bizarrely tiled instead of carpet so overall rooms feel more like a hospital. It’s cleaner than the Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn but no sleep prior to international flight to Europe means we will think twice before ever staying here again. Strange because our experience at the other Hilton Gardens in Escazu and Liberia have been quite nice.

I contacted the hotel the night before arrival to make sure the "free shuttle" picked up in from of Sanza airlines. They said it did and it arrived every 30 minutes. I waited at the curb for 45 minutes when I arrived then went online to contact the hotel. I was disappointed to find a message that said "The shuttle is unavailable" so I took a cab that cost 18 dollars plus tip. I took a screen shot of the message and showed the associate who checked me in. When i arrived at the hotel I asked if they could compensate me for the cost of the cab and the associate said he would check with the manager. When I checked out they said the shuttle was running and would not compensate me for the cab. I also chose this hotel for the "heated pool" which was warm and wonderful last time I stayed here. The pool was cold and the screw came out of the ladder and broke when I climbed the ladder causing an injury to my knee. I returned the screw that fell out to the front desk. They had bottles of shampoo, lotion, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom of the room but the body wash and lotion were so empty it was impossible to use those products. It is a shame that the hotel has really gone downhill in the past year. Don't waste your money staying in this subpar hotel with very poor customer service.

The hotel is nice, but we would have appreciated being told ahead of time (at check-in) that we had to be down 5-10 minutes before the airport shuttle left, because we (and 2 other guest) missed it. The later shuttle was full, so we ended up paying for a taxi to the airport. Another issue was with the bathroom sliding door - if you use the handle, it traps fingers between the door and the wall, because it closes too far past the opening. It pinched adult fingers, enough to leave marks and pain, but would have seriously injured a child’s.
