Right in the heart of San Jose, this was a very comfortable and pleasant stay for vacation stay in the city. I came to visit the museums, just blocks away, and learn more about Costa Rica. The hotel is just 2 short blocks from the downtown pedestrian walkways, and there are several public parks surrounding the hotel and in the neighborhood. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything needed. The morning breakfast offered a variety of options and delicious. This was a perfect hotel choice for my needs.

We wanted to enjoy a few days in San Jose on our first visit to Costa Rica. The Sleep Inn proved to be a good stop. We liked having gated parking for our rental car, and because of the Casino next door, there was security on the property morning and night. The neighborhood felt safe enough during the day and into the night as we walked home from dinner. Walking to local parks, museums, shopping and cafes was convenient. The room was clean, quiet and had all the necessities. The staff were kind and helpful. A good first stop for our trip!

I always stay here lately when I go to San Jose for dental work. I have stayed at several hotels in the past I'm greater San Jose area but ever since I found this little hotel, I mostly stay here because 1. It's quiet, which is hard to find in the center of downtown 2. The staffs are nice, especially Donovan at the front desk 3. The rooms have not only mini fridge, but also a microwave for extra convenience 4. Location. It is about 7 minutes to walk over to Chinatown The hotel itself is a little aged and the breakfast is so so but good enough for the price. I hope they renovated in the near future
