Actually, we were booked from the 25th - 29th. 11 women arrived from 5 different states, 2 exta arrived by car so we could walk the Ovarian Cancer fund raising race. We were told the day before our arrival we could bring luggage by at noon but could not check in early. That was understandable and fine. We couldn't reach anybody to drop the luggage and went to stock up on grocerys. Got an email that the house is double booked and we cannot stay there. They sent a link to another property, the link was all in Chinese but we were able to change the URL to see the English version. Not in town. 2 bathrooms, some bedrooms in the basement- nothing like what we had. The communication was TERRIBLE. Some of it just didn't make sense. We ended up in hotel rooms. The owner said we could get a refund in 15 days. I asked for it asap and they said 48 hours. I called VRBO. There had been no refund started. The support from VRBO was fantastic. They refunded while I was on the phone. If this ever happens - call VRBO first. They were ready to help us get a place immediately. I would never ever rent from this owner. In the end, they did offer to provide FREE cancelation. Seriously!

I’ve stayed at many vacation rentals, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I booked this 7-bedroom house so my entire family could be together for my son’s wedding, and the listing was incredibly misleading.The photos made the place look clean and updated, but that wasn’t the reality. The house was dirty when we arrived, there were locks on each bedroom and bathroom door which made it feel more like a student boarding house than a vacation rental, and the kitchen was not equipped to serve or cook for a group. There were no proper serving platters or mixing bowls—just one broken plastic bowl. We couldn’t even make a proper meal and had to eat out most of the time.Other issues: trash was left outside attracting flies, showers were clogged, the air conditioning didn’t work in the room with elderly family members, and there were not enough towels. We had to buy basic necessities like toilet paper and a wine opener.While the host did try to accommodate some of the concerns by sending over a few missing items, the overall experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. I asked for a credit but never got a clear response.This property should not be rented again until it is properly cleaned, maintained, and accurately represented. I’m leaving this review in hopes that no one experiences what I did in such an important event

Perfect for large family

Overall this property fit the needs for our family reunion. Close to Downtown SanJose which was perfect for the rest of our CA family. Locks on each door was a little frustrating but we worked through that.Great location, very spacious and we enjoyed it for our large incoming family, having everyone in the same house was perfect.
