This a mixed bag for me. Cons: -I booked through Expedia. I wanted to change the reservation to make it one day shorter. Expedia wanted to add $800 to the cost of the trip plus charge a one-day fee. NONE of this is disclosed. Tina at Abitta tried to help but that problem was with Expedia. -The breakfast plan is a voucher you get for the restaurant next door. There is only one item on the menu it covers. The meal was eggs, choice of meat, white toast, fried tator tots and one cup of coffee. Anything else you have to pay for. -My safe did not work properly. I couldn't use a combination. They gave me a key for it instead. -For the first couple of days, the wi-fi in my room was so weak it was unusable. I told the front desk about it and they said they would have IT people come and check it. I asked my nextdoor neighbor and it turns out he was using a different network. It worked great. Don't know why the front desk didn't suggest that. -Housekeeping was uneven. I didn't have any for the first couple of days. They gave me a sign to put on the door but even that didn't always work. -Elevator broke twice. Five flights of stairs is tough with a bad knee. They got it fixed pretty quickly, though. Pros: -Staff was universally very nice and tried to help. -My room had character, a nice view, comfortable bed, newly renovated bathroom. It was quiet and I was very comfortable there. -Good location.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, but the one I had with a balcony had a view of a wall of another building an an alley. The sink was leaking water from the bottom of the base they came to look at it don’t know what they did because I wasn’t in the room when they came it was still leaking a little bit. I had to put a small towel to prevent it from spreading in the whole bathroom.The pool is nice but it’s small and there’s no sun that hits the pool area to catch a tan the food in the restaurant is good. The staff are very polite and courteous.

i went alone for my birthday in november i loved the staff they were so welcoming and they explained everything throughly and i felt very safe. the pool was very clean and the hottub i couldnt stay out of it. everyday my room was cleaned and none of my stuff ended up missing i was leaving my suitcase wide up too. all the excursions was close to the hotel and the ubers was so cheap nothing over 20 dollars i loved it and ill be back
this was at their restaurant inside the hotel they give you 25 dollars to spend every day you stay there

The front desk staff was pleasant and upbeat and did a great job getting all of us checked in. She was thorough and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Rooms were clean, pool area nice. Easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants and the beach.
