Hi! The apartment is beautiful, impeccably furnished, with 360 panorama view as promised. We appreciated that the host was very responsive and provided us with welcome snacks and made us feel very welcome. The location is right on the beach and near many shops and restaurants. (The complex itself is not as modern or stylish as the apartment -- kind of sparse in decor, and the hallways pretty dark and dingey. But this did not bother us too much.)Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by 2 things that we acknowledge were beyond the host's control:1) The unit was having water rationing for the first 2 days of our stay. That means there was only running water 2 hours a day from 7-8 am and 7-8 pm. This happens from time to time in Puerto Rico so we knew it could be a risk. However, at the time of our trip, it had been happening for 2 weeks already, and I did not appreciate the host did not inform or warn us of the issue at all until the day I was flying out. Had I known if advance I would have made different arrangements -- not all of San Juan was without water and I would have moved us to a different neighborhood. Since I learned so late, I had no choice in the matter but to stay there.2) There is a dog that resides in the unit right across the hall. It barks for hours. We felt quite bad for it as we wondered if it was just left alone. We love dogs, but obviously hearing it bark and bark was not a pleasant addition to our vacation.
