Needs upgrading or lowered price
I have certain expectations for a 7 day rental @ $3200+. Like investing in comfort and aesthetics for a pleasant guest experience.
Pros- friendly host, great communication spacious home, great location
Cons- no central air : individual A.C units in some areas only so bathrooms and hallways are really hot.House rules advise to turn off AC before leaving to avoid power outage so house is really hot upon arrival.
No washcloths: Had to bathe with dish cloths
Broken shower on lower level:Guest was showering when water stopped abruptly
Raggedy chairs: reclining chair in TV room is badly worn. Needs to be upholstered.
Flat, flimsy throw pillows & mats: no cushion on throw pillows, mat's are comparable to dish towels on the floor. Tripping/slip and fall hazard than anything useful
Ice maker broken: lovely fridge just not fully functional
Dirty dishes, coffee pot: coffee pot dirty, dried coffee inside. Pots and utensils dirty with food
Kitchen range very low: I'm 5'11 and kept hitting my head on the range as I cooked; barefoot
Light in Master bedroom not working
Hanging parts and wires from some power outlets
Upstairs not renovated at all
No privacy curtains/film on windows
Windows dirty, handle broken
Glass mirrors as closet doors; huge crack in mirror that is tapped instead of replaced
