This hotel was great! Especially for its price. First off, it was CLEAN! Clean towels, bathroom, and sheets. Water pressure in the shower was fine. It’s right in the middle of the strip. 30 second walk to the beach, 5 min walk to the casino and plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance. It’s not a super fancy luxury hotel, but if you’re looking for a clean space to rest with nice staff, Borinquen is perfect. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to PR.

Front office staff was sweet and check in process was super fast. Accessible parking, lots of local food options walking distance go get breakfast at Freddy’s, try the arepas and Plato’s for a nice diner. The beach was 2 min walking distance. Great for families. It is a shared kitchen which it was ok for us we labeled our items and had no issues.

Perfect location by the beach

I loved staying here. Closed to the beach (walking distance), free parking, and great restaurants nearby. Very friendly reception desk. I recommend it!

The location is excellent, close to everything you need such as supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants. The room was dirty; I had to get cleaning supplies and clean it myself, especially the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was in excellent condition, and the hot water worked perfectly. The worst part is that people smoke very close to the lounge area, and the cigarette smoke enters the hallways and rooms. I believe hotel management should designate a smoking area away from the rooms. The staff was very friendly. La ubicación es excelente, cerca de todo lo necesario como supermercados, farmacias y restaurantes. La habitación estaba sucia; tuve que buscar productos de limpieza y hacer la limpieza yo mismo, especialmente en el baño. La cama era muy cómoda, el aire acondicionado estaba en excelentes condiciones y el agua caliente funcionaba perfectamente. Lo peor es que las personas fuman muy cerca de la sala, y el humo del cigarrillo entra a los pasillos y habitaciones. Entiendo que la administración del hotel debería asignar un área para fumar lejos de las habitaciones. El personal fue muy amable.
