Nightmare in Puerto Rico

We arrived to find the house was not at all like the pictures. The power was out in the neighborhood and at the house. We also found one of the bedrooms was locked so we would not be able to use the house with our group of 6 people! It was getting dark outside, we were no longer able to see, and we did not want to stay any longer. We requested help from the contact person and they quickly responded. They asked me to take pictures of the house to verify the power was in fact out! We left and I did receive my refund promptly. It was very difficult to find a hotel at that point and we ended up paying over 500 for a single room that night!!!

We had a leak in the master bedroom coming from the air conditioner that resulted in a big puddle of water steeping into the master bathroom. We were unable to use that bathroom at all. Made it inconvenient for the guests in that particular bedroom. The townhouse needs a little more maintenance to make folks want to come back. You can tell it was an old leak. I wish we would have had a better experience because the apt itself was nice.
