This hotel was a complete disaster. It is very noisy. Our room was next to the road and we couldn't sleep 2 nights. The air conditioner stopped and eventually had to leave and book a different hotel for the rest

Loved the location & the building was super cute. Staff was responsive & very helpful. Only drawback was that the doors. If you wear acrylic nails take them off before trying to get into the lockbox & if you weigh less than 100lbs understand that you won’t be able to force the doors open, but to be expected in an old building combined with the humidity.

Perfect location! Everything is in walking distance. The room is a room loft and the balcony had view of the bail streets and a glimpse of the bay. Staff is friendly and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay!

The AB&B has amazing charm. It was very clean and comfortable. It's location is perfect for walking Old San Juan. Centrally located for places to eat and bars to frequent. The staff was also most helpful.

Casa Las Ruinas needs paperwork filled out before they send info about how to access your room. They didn't email that paperwork until I was already on the trip to Puerto Rico so I didn't see it until I arrived at the property. It was not easy to fill out the paperwork on my cellphone and then I wasn't sure what or when I would hear back from them. It was definitely a hassle. It would have been much better if they would have sent the paperwork earlier. I liked the room but for two things. The pillows were massive so I couldn't comfortably use them. I had to use a throw pillow for my head. There was no closet or any place to hang clothes.

This is a very nicely located and convenient property. It is about 5 blocks from all the attractions Old San Juan has to offer. It is surrounded by many bars, restaurants, shops and historic places. Inside, there is ongoing renovation, but you can see the combination of old/historic building, and convenient modern set up. The rooms are amazing. They are completely renovated and everything is new and modern, with a touch of classic. The bed was great and comfortable. The bathroom super spacious and clean. The room has a small kitchenette, which is convenient for long stays. There was a huge flat screen TV and a view to to street. My only complaint is that the room we had was very noisy because it faced the street, specially at 4 am when cleaning crews are sweeping streets. Otherwise it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone visiting San Juan.
