The room itself was great. Very large and nice balcony. Problem was actually getting into it We arrived early off a cruise. i get it that we couldn’t check in then, but they should have had the available rooms staggered and maybe notify guests when available. We were told check in wasn’t until 4p. when we got back to the hotel about 5p the lobby was filled with tired irate people waiting in a long line to get a room. The poor girls at the front desk were doing their best, and were being baggered by the. customers. it was a horrible experience and almost got violent. Once I finally got in a room after a 2 hour wait it was such a relief!

The room was not ready at check in. One girl was working for a massive line that you just had to re-enter and try again later in. When we finally got our room it had a moldy smell. There was only a single sheet and a super thin blanket. We asked for another sheet and another pillow and eventually they came. The room was run down and not super clean. We froze all night with the thin blanket because the air conditioner would not shut off. The phone didn’t work at all. The location is ok but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were doing their best in a bad situation.

There’s a reason this hotel is cheap. It’s outdated, and the rooms are badly maintained. In ours there were no top sheets ( corrected once we complained), the blackout curtain was broken ( reception said they’d repair it but didn’t) the phone didn’t work ( they said lots of them don’t) the balcony doors didn’t close properly (street noise), most staff demoralised and surly with some exceptions ( the nice guy on breakfast despite his having to apologise for lack of plates on day 2). Avoid.

To be honest, it was so bad that I did not even got to the room. I arrived at check-in time and the first impression is that the 'lobby' of this hotel is actually... an office. Plain white, uninviting, small and CROWDED. There were literally over 30 people in a 150ft square room with 3 couches and no room to sit. All of them waiting for a room, standing shoulder to shoulder. Packed. I presented myself, and without blinking an eye or doing any check I was told 'your room is not ready, you need to wait for these people'. After 1 hour, and seeing that no one got checked in - I decided to just leave. I stayed elsewhere. The property did not feel safe, inviting or practical. I have stayed on their other property in Guayanilla and it is superb. This one, believe the reviews: Avoid.

While the staff at this hotel was polite and helpful, the rest of my stay was disappointing. Parking was extremely difficult, and the lack of clear instructions beforehand made the arrival process unnecessarily stressful. Adding to that, I was charged a $45 parking fee at $15 per day, which felt unreasonable given the parking challenges. At check‑in, I was charged a $150 deposit with the promise of a refund at checkout, but no receipt or written confirmation was provided — even after I asked. That lack of documentation felt unprofessional. The room conditions were also unacceptable. Dust was visible on the AC vent and headboard, and several surfaces appeared unclean. The bathroom had multiple issues as well: a dirty light fixture, mold along the bottom of the shower door, and sinks that hadn’t been properly cleaned. The balcony glass was streaked and clearly hadn’t been maintained. Checkout added to the frustration. The morning staff didn’t seem familiar with the checkout process, and no documentation was provided unless I specifically requested it. I had to ask for proof because of the garage parking white key, which carries a $50 charge if not returned. This was my first stay at this hotel, and unfortunately it will be my last. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend it.

We arrived at the hotel around 4:00 pm, an hour after the 3:00 pm check-in time. However there was nobody at the reception desk. We had to wait 15-20 min for someone to arrive and check us in. We were then told that our room wasn’t ready yet and that we’d have to wait another 10 minutes. That 10 minutes turned into almost an hour. They kept telling us that the freezer in the room was iced up and they were trying to defrost it. We ultimately said we didn’t care about the freezer and just wanted to go to our room, which they finally allowed us to do. When we got there, the freezer was totally fine - there was no ice or any indication of a problem of any kind. No idea why we waited for no reason. Walking to the room, we were put off by several clumps of hair on the floor, which remained in the halls and near the elevator throughout our 3-day stay. The room itself was fine for the most part, but definitely needed a thorough cleaning. It had a carpet floor (the rough kind of carpet you might find in the entryway to an office building where people wipe their feet). Unfortunately, the coarseness of the carpet was a magnet for hair, lint, etc, which you could see along the walls. Ewww! For the price, it was fine. I wouldn’t jump to stay there again though. The breakfast was simple… basically muffins (commercially made in plastic wrappers), croissants, some fruit, coffee, juice and tarts about it. We’re not big breakfast eaters so a muffin and coffee worked for us.

The room service was very poor. We asked for more hangers, never received. It was two of us in the room and ask for more towels. Received them the first night at 10:30 and we were in bed by then. Would not give us more each day like we requested. Never give us more toilet paper and I had to go down to front desk one morning and tell them I need toilet paper now because we were not receiving any from the cleaning service. We used the two cups for coffee and they never replace them. Some days they never come in our room at all, beds were not made. Hotel service was very bad. The view from the balcony was great. That was the only thing good.

This was one of the worst travel experiences we have ever had. first we had to wait HOURS for our room to be ready. Check in was a miserable experience with 50 people in a small crowded lobby (all upset an angry because NO ROOMS were ready). When we did finally get a room we didn't have any sheets on our bed and only a thin filthy brown blanket for cover. The phone in the room didn't work so any communication had to be done in person at the front desk and it was well after midnight. We had to use bath towels & sleep in sweats just to use the bed. We had an early flight out or we would have moved hotels, but we kept getting promises that the sheets were coming. In the morning at check out again the lobby was full of angry people with very similar issues to ours. The workers at the desk said mgmnt knows of the problems they simply do not care. Run far far away from this place - do not risk staying here because the price seems right. There is a reason.Sad part is this could be such a beautiful hotel if only someone cared about it. Staff was friendly-ish, but I am not sure how they could work there constantly being yelled at by unhappy customers. A couple we were speaking with in the lobby the night before were checking out 2 days early & moving to another hotel until their flight out. They took photos of their feet after walking on a filthy floor. They never got any sheets OR TOWELS & basically slept on their own clothing. So gross. PLEASE REMOVE from Expedia. AWFUL PLACE GROSS

There was no visible notice of the hotel's location or the 2nd floor registration. We drove around and around trying to find the hotel and it was not visible. The parking was also hard to find. We were pretty frustrated after a long flight to have to research the hotel location. If it had not been for the beautiful view and very nice employees, it would have gotten a higher rating.
