Fantastic Beach Getaway with a Welcoming Host

We had a wonderful week-long stay at this lovely house near the beach. The home was comfortable, well-maintained, air-conditioned, and in a quiet, safe neighborhood, perfect for relaxing. We loved the proximity to the beach (a one-minute walk), which made swimming, snorkeling, and peaceful beach walks part of our daily routine. There were very few people around - enough to make you feel safe and yet give you long stretches of time to feel like you've got the whole beach to yourself.The host was fantastic—welcoming, friendly, and responsive without being intrusive, which made the experience even better.While we enjoyed the peaceful setting, it’s worth noting that restaurants and shops are not within walking distance, so we drove for meals and supplies. This required a slight adjustment since the location appeared closer on the VRBO map.Overall, this was a wonderful stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beachside retreat with a great host and easy access to water activities.

A wonderful White tropical house

Súper encantada con el trato del dueño súper servicial, atento y muy cortés! La casa lucía como nueva muy limpia, mi familia amó quedarse en ese bello lugar, muy accesible a las playas, la brisa y las amacas son muy relajante! Excelente estadía!

Peaceful

So clean and felt safe. Me and my son were traveling. Louis is so nice. He gave us mangos and a coconut! Beds comfortable. Good base to travel out of! Please turn the AC off when not there! It gets cool really fast!! Would stay here again.

BEST VRBO we have ever stayed at

The attention to detail and cleanliness in this VRBO will never be matched. The host was so wonderful. The paint and tile work is amazing. The hot tub was so clean. Thanks so much for taking such great care of us and our family.

Exactly what I needed

Luis was very friendly and hospitable. He was able to suggest places to go that are off the beaten path where there weren't tourist so we could enjoy the island from a different perspective. The place was clean, neat and well put together. I would recommend Luis' place to anyone who would want to visit this part of the island. Gracias, Luis!!!

Great location at a reasonable price

This is a neat little property within a minute’s walk of a pretty beach. The property manager was friendly and helpful. The only caution I have is that the pictures are misleading. This is a one room apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. All ‘6’ beds listed are in one small room, so if you’re looking for privacy, pay attention to the number of rooms. The hammocks outside are really nice but can’t substitute an extra bedroom if you’re traveling with a larger party. Overall nice stay, if you’re only traveling with your partner.

Wonderful stay

This cottage is in short walking distance to a beautiful beach (take a left down the street walking out the front door), short driving distance to the main Luquillo town and on a quiet residential street. Luis is a conscientious and accommodating host who went out of his way to help us, even after our stay ended. The indoor space is clean and modern, and outdoors is spacious and inviting. The hot tub, outdoor shower and hammock area is perfect for lounging around after the beach. Highly recommended.
