I’ll start with the positives: the location is quiet, feels safe, has several restaurants nearby, and a nice walking trail around the lake. Check-in was easy with a keypad, and the host provided clear instructions. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The property is advertised as “luxury,” but it was far from it. There was a strong musty smell throughout the apartment, the refrigerator still had protective plastic attached, the dishes and utensils were old worn-out plastic, the air fryer didn’t work, the grill was covered in rust, the bed sheets and towels smelled of humidity, the furniture was dirty, there were clumps of hair in the bathroom, ants throughout the property, brown tap water, and dirty or rusted cabinets. When we shared our concerns, the host responded that this was what we should expect in Puerto Rico for the price we paid. As a Puerto Rico resident, I strongly disagree. Cleanliness and basic maintenance should never depend on price. I would not stay here again or recommend this property.
