What a wonderful place to escape! From the balcony view to the comfy bed every moment was perfect! The Island Escape was very clean and located in walking distance to so much. We loved PR and staying at this location.

We stayed at this rental for 4 nights. The check in process was easy. We got there at night and we were a little disappointed because usually you are greeted with water, some snacks, coffee and there were none. It would have been nice to have some of these things upon our arrival. The place is at the beach and it lacked items to go to the beach like beach chairs and umbrellas. It did have a beach chair but was broken and other chairs but not specifically for the beach. The place has a beautiful view of the beach, ocean, and surrounding buildings. But it’s too hot to sit outside on the balcony because the a/c unit is there so it makes it hotter. Puerto Rico is a hot place but having the units there makes it insoportable even at night. The building does not have a pool, looked like it was under construction. The rental offers the option to go to the next door hotel but one has to pay in order to use it. The condo is in a transitable area with restaurants, pharmacies, bars etc. The people that work at the condo building were nice and offered us information when we needed.

Perfect getaway

The property was super clean and had everything we needed for our comfort. It is in a perfect location, walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach is at the back door. The host was quick to respond to my couple of questions. I would recommend Island Escape to friends and family members and hope to return.

Fun family vacation

We had a great time here in Puerto Rico. Our apartment was clean and as listed. The building itself is in need of TLC and it looks like they are working on it. We were very happy with the location, close to a grocery store, old San Juan, a 45 min drive to el yunque national forest. It was a short walk to the beach, perfect for the family. The beach was clean and had lots of palm trees for shade. The kids loved the arcade room downstairs. Wished more games were functioning. We would stay here again!

Simply the best!

We arrived and everything was beyond anything we could have imagined. The property is emasculated, the lobby, coffee shop, game room and fitness room are all up to date and exceeded out expectations. There isn't a pool but the beach is perfect, clean and safe. Absolutely gorgeous views!!! The unit was not cleaned as there was some miscommunication with the cleaning service however, I messaged the owner and they had the cleaner there with in an hour. We walked and had dinner on the strip. By the time we got back the unit was cleaned and ready to go! We will stay here if we ever visit PR again in the future.iIt is simply the best and communication with the owner is second to none!

Four adults had a nice stay at the property. Was slightly disappointed about the pool, but with the condo being right on the beach, it made up for it. We had a pleasant time away and would visit San Juan again.

Interior is lovely.

The inside of the condo was lovely. The interior was clean and the pictures shown on the site are very accurate. The common areas of the building need updating- lobby, pool area, garage. Hopefully the pool will open soon although the owner was very transparent and made sure in the listing that we knew it was closed. 5 stars for the apartment interior. The entry code provided worked well. We did have trouble finding staff in the lobby and thus were unaware we needed to get a parking pass or that we needed to park packed in to the assigned space. I thought it was a nice touch that the parking spot was marked with the condo logo. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent Location

We loved this rental - right on the beach, private parking, nice sized apt. Restaurant, casino & other hotels are within walking distance. Would definitely rent this apartment again!
