Everything was excellent. But since the hotel is an old building, the owners need to polish the floor. But we don't have any complaints. I will stay there again and I will recommend my friends to stay at Romeo Gay Hotel.

We were kept up late at night with guests blaring music through a speaker at the pool. I called reception to see what could be done and I was met with a "we don't have quiet hours". Unfortunately we had a room right in front of the hotel. There is only an air conditioning in the main bedroom so If you get stuck with the bed up the ladder it is extremely hot. We ended up using the couch to sleep which was extremely uncomfortable. We were woken up in the night by guests shouting eight outside our rooms. The pool was okay but was dirty. The cabanas were cut but were extremely dirty with stains, trash and more. The shower ran out of water when using it. Overall would NOT return.

I liked that the entrance is gated. Good service to customers. The only con was the shower issue where the water was getting out of the restroom to the hallway. Glad my family and I were able to get moved to another room. Other than that, everything was good and the view from the hotel was great!

Looks like this hotel is part different hotels owned by the same company. The Romeo gay hotel is being refurbished and it may take a bit more to feel comfortable. I could have chosen any another hotel chances are no matter how uncomfortable another hotel is, it is probably better.

Excellent option close to everything, is a pretty new hotel, they just opened really recently, the hotel is still in process to be completed like the bar area, but I like everything, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I recommend.

The room was very nice like a studio apartment. They had a microwave in the main lobby/shared space with a mini fridge/freezer in room. The staff were very kind and helpful. Pool area was clean and comfortable. Location was perfectly situated between old San Juan and a local beach. Getting around was an affordable experience using Uber. Pretty much everyone spoke English but if you know some Spanish I suggest trying to use some of it to embrace the culture of Puerto Rico. I will say if you intend to use the upper bunk/sleeping area you need to be capable of climbing a ladder. My kids thought it was super cool and enjoyed the unique area. I did not have an issue with water not getting hot/warm as stated in prior reviews. You just need to let it warm up a little that’s all. We plan on visiting again and will be staying at Romeo Gay Hotel.
