The house is beautiful, with impressive bathrooms, oversized closets, and clean, comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well stocked (4 coffee makers), and the washer/dryer was convenient.The bedrooms are gorgeous overall — with one exception. If you’re staying with 4 couples, just know someone is going to be mad when they pull the short straw. The room is off of the kitchen, the door doesn’t close tightly, no closet, en-suite, or windows. The router is messily set up and not tucked away. We had an older child use the room and it worked fine, but it’s something to consider.The beach is quiet and clean with big waves, and lifeguards on duty were a plus. The resort amenities were a huge hit — lake inflatables, kayaks, bikes, walking trails, and a turtle pond by the gym. Staff was friendly and helpful.A few minor inconveniences didn’t impact our overall trip:• Internet was out for 24 hours but resolved on its own.• Pool lights and fountain weren’t working at arrival but were fixed after a few days.• The golf cart struggled on hills and may be an issue if needed for mobility. We had to push it over the bridge and on the last day it couldn’t make it out of the driveway.• It can be loud near the beach club. The upper deck is next to an area where staff power wash furniture (which went on for hours one day) / leaf blowers at the beach club at 7am.Overall, we had a great stay — just a few helpful notes for future guests.
