When we checked in they couldn’t find our reservation, even though I had got an email from them acknowledging my request for a first floor room. They did get us a room but not what we reserved. The room was marginally clean. There was dog kibble on the floor and dog hair on the sofa. The bottom sheet on the bed was just thrown over the mattress and not tucked in so when you pulled the covers back it came off, so I had to make the bed. We have stayed here before and didn’t have any issues. Not so good this time.

We love that we could walk into town. It was so quiet. The bed was so comfortable. We’ll be there every year at that week. It was sublime.

Cute beach stay, near SLO

We were only there overnight and didn't get to enjoy the area which we hope to do another time. The only suggestion would be to have conditioner in the shower, along with shampoo and shower gel. The one tiny bottle of conditioner was too small for 1 person, let alone 2 people. I have thick short hair and the bottle wasn't enough for my hair and I had to share it with my daughter.

Everything was wonderful. This is our go to hotel in Cayucos. Everything is great and they don’t overcharge, even though they could. Clean, convenient, good parking…can’t think of anything negative.

This is a delightful beach hotel in the super cut town of Cayucos, California. We arrived before check in time but our room was ready so they let us check in anyway. It’s probably 3 blocks to the beach. There is a good restaurant across the street called The Sea Shanty. We had a great breakfast there with friends. This place isn’t super fancy but it’s nice, clean and in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.
