Worth the second visit

My stay here was wonderful! Within walking distance from the beach, as well as close to the downtown area. Everyone i got to talk to was super nice, and very helpful. Would definitely come back here again.

Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, boardwalk, and downtown. However, the property is very outdated and could benefit from some renovations to improve the overall guest experience. While the room was clean, we had to purchase our own towels as the provided ''white'' towels were yellowed and worn out. Investing in updates to the facilities and amenities would make this property much more appealing.

Friendly staff and accomodating with dogs. Walls were pretty thin and the surrounding area is loud. Perfect place to stay for a few days and lay your head on at night.

We like the location. Plenty of parking. Allows for early check-in..but they charge a fee now. The pool was open but there was an issue with the heating so it was too cold to swim in. Our room was next to the stairs so it was noisy as guests go Ik and down the stairs.

Good location but thin walls

Okay so want to summarize a few things: Front desk is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast includes muffins/bagel/danishes /Fresh fruit/coffee/juice There are two separate buildings for rooms. The one without balconies is right next to the water and overlooks the pool. The rooms with balconies overlook the parking lot but have partial views over the buildings of the ocean Everything is super close. Very nice place to visit. My one major negative comment is the walls are paper thin and I didn't find the bed very comfortable. If you go during the weekend be prepared for quite a bit of noise is what I noticed - during the midweek i don't think the rooms next to me were occupied so it was quiet.

One has to divide and conquer this hotel's rating. For those wanting to be close to the beach, this hotel is second to none. Its problem - it hasn't been updated ever and needs almost everything. The heater/air conditioner was so noisy, we turned it off for sleeping and were less warm than ideal. The bed only had a thin blanket protection. The toilet needs new hardware. There is no grab bar for the bath/shower. The breakfast barely qualifed as such. Highly recommended for surfer dudes who only want a bed between riding the waves - disappointing for the rest of us.
