Our stay was wonderful. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Easy parking centrally located. Only negative was the elevator was done and we were not notified ahead of time.

Room had smoke when I turned on heater

It was good. The only issue I had was when I turned on the heater it started smoking in are room. It didn't smell like smoke but the attendant said it was just a dirty air filter.

My personal experience staying at La Serena Inn was wonderful. The place was nice & clean. The staffs were all friendly and so welcoming. The location is nearby so many restuarants such a Giovanni and a few mins away from the beach. I tried tacos de mexico down the street and that was a disappointment so I highly recommend dont go there. The hotel have a light breakfast option available such as waffles, boil eggs, toast, danishes, coffee, bananas, oranges, I wish they have sausage links though. I will stay here again.

There was only one person on staff when I arrived at 6pm. There was a "back in one hour" sign" hanging on the lobby door. I hate to wait for over an hour to check in. Good breakfast buffet though.
