anniversary trip

i love to stay here! i’ve stayed once before, and the stay is always cozy, quiet, and convenient. it’s walking distance to pretty much everywhere! i recommend people staying in morro to stay here, as i will definitely be back to sea air inn for my next trip. (one note i do have is if you are sensitive to sound, it’s probably best to book an upstairs room as you can hear their steps from downstairs rooms lol!)

We loved our stay at Sea Air Inn! The bed was the most comfortable bed on our multi city trip. The only thing we would have done differently, would be to spend more nights at this hotel. It was easy to walk to all the fun of Morro Bay and has a very relaxing, laidback feel.

Great stay. Close to the Embarcadero!

Room was very clean except for the floor. My white socks were pretty dusty/dirty. Overall though, the room was very tidy and clean.

Location, location, location!

The location is the saving grace for this place. While the amenities are average, the beds are really comfortable and is right in the heart of Morro Bay. We easily walked most places.

Warning

The room was nice, but when the toilet clogged they accused us of stuffing towels down the toilet and causing the clog. This was at night, when my kids and I were getting into bed. I understand a clogged toilet is very inconvenient, and messy, but even before they took it apart they insisted we had actually broken it by trying to flush a towel. This was only 6 hours into our 6 day vacation. I felt very uncomfortable staying there because I didn’t know what else we might be accused of, so we booked 5 nights across the street where we’ve stayed before. I spoke to the staff at Sea Air about getting a refund, even a partial refund, but there was no one able to discuss it. I contacted Hotels.com, and they tried to get me a refund for the nights we didn’t use, but were unable to. This means I prepaid for 6 days, and they kept all the money even though I was checked out on the second day. The whole experience was miserable, and I would warn people if something happens to could end up blamed for it.
