Wonderful staff!! So convenient to shops and restaurants and walkable area to walk my dog. parking right in front of your room...most of the time. Room was comfy, although the soap dispenser was empty. but no biggy since I always bring my own. I loved staying in Morro Bay..oh and so convenient, the best coffee house a lock up the street!!!

Great Staff & Accommodations

We stayed just one night, but my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is perfect—walking distance to shops, dining, and the wharf. Our pet-friendly room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff was exceptional. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend it to friends and family.

Did not feel safe at all. Asked to be moved to a different room was told ok but a $40. Charge that turned into $63. And was barely better. Would not recommend.

It was my first time staying here. The Landing at Morro Bay consists of one large building with 3 floors and the Office/Lobby building with 2 or 3 ground level, cottage style units. I was in one of those cottages. Number 111. The front door opened out to a small patio and a view of the water and Morro Rock. The pathway to the Esplanade was just across the street, This is an ideal location! I would definitely stay here again. Very convenient location and friendly staff.

The location was great, with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and a great view of the rock. The amenities, however, were not as described. They no longer have a coffee machine in the lobby, and the in-room coffee was pretty awful. Also, there was no shelf or flat surface in the bathroom, so super inconvenient. The fire pit was broken, and they were unable to bring extra hangers. Too bad, since they are in such a great area.

The staff was wonderful. The facility was llike stepping back into 1962. They have tried to upgrade but there is only so much that can be done. It was an extremely overpriced hotel. I understand you are paying for location but this room was excessively high priced for the mediocracy of the room. Silly example, there are no shutters or blinds on the east facing windows thus you are crushed by the direct morning sun whether you like it or not.

It's totally my fault I didn't realize there was NO elevator. We were placed on the 3rd floor. My husband had a newly developed foot problem (pain in one foot), so we asked if it was possible to get a room on the bottom or even the 2nd floor. Because it was a 3 day weekend this wasn't possible. Totally understandable. We got into the room and the AC was really small and loud. No front larger windows...only doors to open up and get some air flowing. Tiny windows in the bathroom and above the coffee area. The beds were uncomforable. We opened a drawer of the nightstand and there was a dirty sock and spoon inside from previous occupants. Parking lot is tiny with almost no room to walk between vehicles. Only one outside garbage can in the middle of the large property. My husband asked an employee of the property where the ice machine was located, and he responded rudely, "It's right there," and pointed like he should've known. For $600 we won't be staying there again. The view was superb from our 3rd floor balcony but that's about all it was good for TBH.
